An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced
Residential Design Manager
to join an award-winning residential design firm based on the Sunshine Coast.
This role is being recruited exclusively on behalf of our client, a well-established and highly regarded business working with leading builders and developers across South East Queensland.
About the Company Our client is a boutique, close-knit residential design firm known for delivering high-quality design outcomes across:
* Custom homes
* Duplexes
* High-end architectural residences
* Select multi-residential projects

The Role Reporting directly to the Directors, you will be responsible for managing and mentoring a small design team while remaining hands-on in the delivery of projects.
Key Responsibilities Include
* Managing and leading a team of Lead Designers and Drafters
* Overseeing residential design projects from concept through to documentation
* Acting as a key client-facing contact for builders, developers, and private clients
* Ensuring design quality, consistency, and compliance across all projects
* Contributing to drafting when required using Revit
* Working closely with builders and developers to deliver practical, buildable designs
This is a
full-time, office-based role
on the Sunshine Coast.
About You To be successful in this role, you will have:
* A Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Building Design or Architecture
* Proven experience in residential design, ideally in a leadership or senior role
* Strong client-facing and communication skills
* Experience managing or mentoring design teams
* Proficiency in Revit
* A professional presentation and confident approach when dealing with clients, builders, and developers
* A collaborative mindset suited to a small, high-performing team environment
