Blue Mountains District ANZAC Memorial Hospital is an acute hospital that supports a population of approximately 80,000 and is the only ANZAC Memorial hospital remaining in NSW. Blue Mountains District ANZAC Memorial Hospital is seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse to join our Theatres team. This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic Nurse with a passion for perioperative care to work in a supportive, patient-focused environment within a vibrant regional hospital.
As a Theatre Nurse, you will play a vital role in delivering safe, high-quality nursing care to patients undergoing surgical procedures. You will work collaboratively with Surgeons, Anaesthetists and Multidisciplinary teams to ensure smooth theatre operations and optimal patient outcomes.
This role will see you provide comprehensive nursing care to patients before, during and after surgical procedures, assist in the preparation and maintenance of the operating theatre environment and support the surgical team by managing equipment, instruments and supplies.

What You Will Bring To The Role
* Current registration as a Registered Nurse (Division 1) with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
* Demonstrated ability to organise and prioritise work
* Demonstrated evidence of being able to provide person centred care
* Demonstrated excellent high level effective communication skills – written and verbal
* Demonstrated commitment to professional development
* Demonstrated recent experience and clinical skill in Perioperative Nursing as a registered nurse (including Completion of a new graduate RN program or equivalent experience working as a Registered Nurse)
Employment of a temporary visa holder may only occur if no suitable permanent resident or citizen of Australia has been identified and must not exceed the duration or conditions associated with the current visa.
