The Opportunity
We're excited to offer an opportunity for an Underwriting Administrator to join our Brisbane team. In this entry‐level role, you'll work closely with our Underwriters, Business Development Managers, and Operations Manager to support the assessment and processing of new business, renewals, and endorsements within our Mobile Plant and Liability portfolio. You will also help maintain strong relationships with intermediaries and deliver excellent customer service.
What You'll Be Doing
* Assisting with underwriting new business and renewals
* Preparing quotes and processing policies
* Building relationships with brokers and intermediaries.
* Responding to customer queries and helping assess real insurance needs
* Learning from experienced underwriters to grow your industry knowledge and skills
What We're Looking For
* Experience in admin, broking, underwriting, or claims (ideal but not essential)
* Exposure to general insurance (bonus!)
* Good communication and problem‐solving skills and a genuine willingness to learn
* Confidence with computers, particularly Excel, word, outlook
