Children Services Coordinator
Job Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and innovative Children Services Coordinator to develop and implement engaging programs for children and youth in our community.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement storytimes, STEAM activities, literacy workshops, and other creative initiatives that foster learning and enjoyment among children and youth.
* Cultivate and maintain a diverse collection of materials tailored to the needs and interests of our young patrons, including books, audiobooks, e-books, and digital resources.
* Promote collaboration with local service providers, educational institutions, and community groups to drive engagement and build partnerships that benefit children and families.
Requirements
* A Bachelor's degree or graduate diploma in a relevant field such as Library Science, Education, or Child Development.
* Previous experience working with children and/or youth in a library or educational setting, with a strong understanding of child development principles and practices.
* A proven ability to stay current with trends in children's literature and services programming, with a passion for lifelong learning and professional growth.
