Key Role Overview
The role involves collaborating with the Partner in Charge of our Canberra office on diverse commercial and regulatory transactions. This includes matters across aviation, venture capital, water, and energy.
Main Responsibilities
* Manage client relationships to achieve strategic objectives
* Act as a key support member and assist the Partner in managing the overall practice
* Take a lead role on matters with autonomy and minimal oversight
Required Skills and Experience:
* Senior Associate or Special Counsel level in private practice or equivalent level in-house
* Proven experience as a commercial lawyer with a focus on business transactions
* Ability to communicate effectively and build rapport with clients and work with junior lawyers
