About the Role
As a Branch Assistant, you'll be the first point of contact for retail and trade customers, guiding them through product selections, providing tailored solutions, and ensuring they receive top‐notch service. Your role will be a mix of customer interaction, sales support, and relationship management.
Responsibilities
* Deliver exceptional service to both retail and trade customers, guiding them to the right products and solutions.
* Provide a premium customer experience with every delivery, representing the brand with professionalism and care.
* Accurately pick, pack, and dispatch orders in a fast‐paced environment.
* Manage sales transactions, prepare quotes, and proactively follow up with customers to drive satisfaction and repeat business.
* Maintain stock accuracy through cycle counts, inventory control, and keeping the warehouse clean, organised, and efficient.
What You'll Need to Succeed
* Industry Experience: Plumbing, trade, interior design or showroom sales experience is a plus – but not essential.
* Customer Focus: Ability to understand renovation needs and provide expert recommendations.
* Team Player Attitude: Adaptable, "can do" mindset to support a small but high‐performing team.
* Strong Communication: Confident working with experienced trades and customers alike.
* Licence Requirements: A valid driver's licence is required and forklift licence is preferred.
* Australian Working Rights: A citizen or permanent resident of Australia or New Zealand. (Sponsorship is not offered for this position)
