Our meat industry partner, a subsidiary backed by multiple highly successful, multi-generational Australian meat industry families, is seeking a driven and experienced Export Documentation Officer with strong attention to detail to join their export documentation administration team.
This is an exciting opportunity to work in a collaborative environment with a focus on the following:
* Processing RFP's, EDN's.
* Processing Health Certificates and Halal Certificates.
* Processing Certificates of Origin (Chamber of Commerce).
* Raising invoices.
* Customer service.
* Coordinating shipment movements with forwarders and shippers.
* Liaising with clients, transport/courier companies to guarantee the adherence to deadlines and cut off's.
* Document preparation, checking and data entry.
The successful applicant must have prior experience working in the meat industry and as an export customer service role, data entry, export documentation and/or export logistics based role. In addition, the successful applicant should:
* Work well with deadlines and can prioritise.
* Have exceptional attention to detail.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Demonstrated ability to multitask in a busy, fast paced office environment.
* Advanced keyboard and data entry skills.
* Impeccable telephone skills.
* A resourceful and resilient approach to problem solving.
* The ability to take the initiative.
* Be a willing member of a vibrant sales team.
* Demonstrated ability to quickly learn new processes and systems.
* Interest or previous exposure to the food manufacturing, agriculture or meat industry is desirable.
This is a terrific opportunity to join a small and intimate cold storage team backed by multiple meat companies, who pride themselves on their culture and values. Their longstanding supplier relationships and customer care are at the core of everything they do. Remuneration is $75,000-$85,000 plus superannuation. This is an office based role with no flexibility to work from home.
