A1 Precision Automotive is a family owned and operated mechanical repair business, established for over 30 years in Katoomba, NSW. We are a Repco Authorised Service Centre offering a wide range of services including standard servicing to most makes and models of cars and 4WDs.
Precision Automotive has a clean, modern workshop with the latest diagnostic equipment and specialty tools. We have built a reputation for high quality customer service and workmanship.
We're seeking a fully qualified Automotive Mechanic to join our busy workshop. Our ideal candidate should have a strong background in all types of automotive repair and maintenance. If you have a great work ethic and are looking to secure a long-term role, then this is the job for you.

Key responsibilities
* Diagnosing and repairing various types of vehicles with precision and efficiency.
* General servicing on light and medium vehicles
* General mechanical repairs
* Logbook servicing
* Complete repairs and tasks in a timely manner, prioritising efficiency without compromising quality
* Customer communication
* Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised work environment.
* Staying updated with the latest automotive technologies and practices.
Qualifications and Skills Required
* Australian residents only – no visa applicants considered.
* Australian trade qualifications as an Automotive Mechanic.
* Proven experience in automotive repair and maintenance.
* Strong knowledge of modern automotive technology and systems.
* Ability to work with various tools and diagnostic equipment.
* Be honest and reliable.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Strong communication and teamwork skills.
* Commitment to health and safety practices.
* Current manual car driver's license.
