Personal carers - mildura

We are seeking four Full-time Personal Carers to join our compassionate team at the Oasis Aged Care Home in Mildura, Victoria. The role starts on 10 July 2026 and is a four‐year position.

• Competitive pay as per the Southern Cross Care (Qld) Aged Care Enterprise Agreement 2024, starting at $35.24 per hour plus shift loadings based on qualifications and experience.
• Support to obtain a Certificate III in Aged Care through available government funding.
• Employee Assistance Program and Thrive wage access (50% of earned wages early).
• Opportunities to gain experience in related roles such as Lifestyle, Catering Assistant/Cook, or Domestic Assistant, subject to training and business needs.

• Provide person‐centred care including bathing, dressing, toileting and other support services based on resident needs.
• Work within a multidisciplinary team led by Enrolled & Registered Nurses.
• Follow safety and infection control protocols at all times.
• Participate in shift work, with 38 hours per week on rotating shifts Monday to Sunday.

• Certificate III in Aged Care (or equivalent); Certificate III preferred.
• Medication Assist Competency (desirable).
• Understanding of aged care principles and resident rights.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
• Friendly, approachable, and able to work well in a team environment.
