Reporting to the Manager, Enterprise Architecture, this position is responsible to guide project delivery teams, ensuring the solutions are aligned with the enterprise architecture and meet business requirements. The Solution Architect is expected to collaborate with the business subject matter experts and project delivery teams to translate business requirements and user stories into implementation ready solution designs.
What we are looking for
Demonstrated 3+ years' experience in solution architecture and design, including providing technical leadership across implementation of large-scale digital solutions based on contemporary technologies.
Proven experience with contemporary content management systems, Enterprise Resource Planning and Customer Relationship Management platforms.
Extensive experience in designing and implementing digital solutions using RESTful APIs, ETL Processes, JSON, XML and integration platforms

About the BPC
The Building & Plumbing Commission (BPC) is Victoria's new regulator for building and plumbing.
It brings together the Victorian Building Authority (VBA), Domestic Building Dispute Resolution Victoria (DBDRV), and the domestic building insurance function of the Victorian Managed Insurance Authority (VMIA) into one organisation.
Key functions related to building and plumbing regulation will come together under one roof, including registration, inspection and compliance, practitioner discipline, dispute resolution, and domestic building insurance. These services will now part of the BPC and will be fully integrated over the next 12 months.
