while you transition into yout role as a teacher at TAFE Queensland. You will deliver the course in the classroom, in onsite and offsite workshops & state-of-the-art simulated learning environments. You will contribute to developing and delivering quality learning, teaching and assessment to a wide range of students through:
* Outcome focussed vocational education and training (VET) programs;
* Linking with industry, schools, universities, community, other TAFE and VET providers;
* Maintaining currency with industry practices, workplace delivery and contemporary teaching methodologies and philosophies; and
* Working in an environment of ongoing change and continuous improvement.
What Qualifications do you need?
Mandatory
* UEE30820 – QLD Electrical Fitter Mechanics licence (or equivalent).
* Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40122 or equivalent/higher).
* Current industry experience with ability to demonstrate a broad range of current industry skills
Highly Desirable
* UEE32220 or UEE42920 – QLD Restricted Licence (or equivalent).
* ACMA Cabling Licence
The Positions:
Three full-time roles available at our Ashmore Campus, fixed-term until 27-Jun-2026 & 18-Dec-2026, with potential to extend.
The Salary:
$92,930 – $105,218 (gross) per annum, depending on educational qualifications and teaching experience.
