We are seeking an experienced Network Engineer to deliver Level 2 services and support to end users (internal and external). Based in Adelaide, with plenty of opportunity to WFH when training is completed, you will work in a small collaborative team to resolve technical issues. This is a 12‐month fixed‐term contract role.
Core Responsibilities
* Network operations and support including triaging and escalating of tickets.
* Cloud networking activities.
* Troubleshoot across AWS and Azure environments.
* Develop and maintain network documentation including processes, procedures, diagrams and training notes.
* Monitor enterprise network environments.
You
Ideally you will have a degree in a related IT discipline, equivalent IT experience may also be considered. Additionally, to be successful in this 12‐month role you will bring the following skills and experience:
* 2+ years of experience in network operations, IT support or similar, preferably in the Australia market.
* Demonstrable understanding of networking fundamentals, like TCP/IP, routing, switching, DNS etc.
* Exposure to Windows and Linux environments with command‐line troubleshooting skills.
* Proven ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously with expert time management skills and the ability to work collaboratively and independently.
* Great communication skills (verbal and written) along with an improvement mindset. Previous experience working with external clients is an advantage.
