Job Opportunity: Senior Legal Counsel, Employment Law
This is a strategic leadership role in our organisation’s legal function. The successful candidate will have expertise in employment law and the ability to deliver high-quality advice.
* Provide expert legal advice on employment law matters, including enterprise agreements, awards, contracts, workplace investigations, and terminations.
* Monitor and interpret legislative and industrial relations developments, advising on implications for policy, practice, and risk.
* Draft, review, and negotiate employment-related documentation, ensuring legal robustness and alignment with organisational values.
* Partner with senior internal stakeholders across People & Culture, Risk, and Operations as well as external counsel and regulators to embed legal risk management into our workforce strategy.
We're looking for someone with deep knowledge of employment law, industrial relations, and workplace legislation, proficiency in drafting and negotiating employment contracts, policies, and settlement agreements, and proven ability to build trusted relationships with senior leaders, People & Culture, Risk, and external counsel.
