Team Leader - Senior Occupational Therapist
Based Health Group began as a small start-up founded by two Occupational Therapists, Mitch and Zac. We have grown carefully and intentionally, choosing the right people and building strong foundations within the NDIS space.
We are now expanding across aged care and home care services throughout Perth, while continuing to strengthen our NDIS presence.
Our new Dianella clinic hub is opening soon and will include dedicated office space, a gym area and purpose-built therapy rooms designed to support collaboration, supervision and growth.
We are entering an exciting next phase and are looking for the right leader to grow with us.
About The Role
This is a genuine hybrid role combining leadership and clinical practice.
As Senior OT – Team Leader, you will:
* Support and guide the OT team day to day
* Work closely with Mitch and Zac to help lead the allied health team
* Provide structured supervision and mentorship
* Oversee and maintain high standards in clinical reasoning and documentation
* Be confident and experienced in complex report writing, including Functional Capacity Assessments (FCA), Home and Living assessments, Assistive Technology applications and equipment prescription
* Strengthen systems, processes and clinical governance
* Contribute to onboarding and professional development
Your clinical load will be reduced to support leadership responsibilities. You will maintain a meaningful caseload, delivering high-quality clinical work and setting the standard for your team through example, structure and supportive leadership.
You will lead from within practice, not above it.
