Job Title: Warehouse Clerk

Location: Ft. Lauderdale FL 33309
Pay Rate: $20.00/hr. on W2
Shift: 8AM-5PM M-F
Duration: 6 months

Job Description

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

- Transport materials and goods between designated warehouse locations.
- Ensure proper labeling, organization, and storage of inventory items.
- Inspect incoming goods for damage, verify quantity and quality, and match against purchase orders.
- Follow complex instructions, verify part numbers, serial numbers, and data entry accurately into the ERP system with zero tolerance for error.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment in compliance with safety standards.

Role Summary: The Contractor, Warehouse Clerk, plays a key role in supporting warehouse operations by safely handling and moving materials. This temporary role is focused on supporting material handling and shipping needs, and ensuring the integrity of inventory through barcode scanning, labelling, and scrap handling.

Qualifications

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in warehouse or material handling preferred.
- Basic understanding of inventory systems and cycle counting.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to lift and move heavy materials safely.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- Familiarity with hazardous material handling procedures is a plus.
- Familiarity with stock line level tracking systems, barcode scanning, labeling and cycle counts. Experience with ERP or WMS platforms is a plus.

Physical Requirements

- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods.
- Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Capable of operating pallet jacks.

Work Environment

- Warehouse setting with exposure to varying temperatures and noise levels.
- Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.

Contingent Worker Notice

This position is offered on a contingent basis and does not include advantages typically associated with full-time employment. The duration of assignment may vary based on business needs and performance.

- Promptness & Reliability: Consistently punctual, dependable, and respectful of shift schedules and team coordination.
- Team Collaboration: Works well with cross-functional teams and communicates clearly and respectfully.
- Organizational Excellence: Skilled in maintaining clean, efficient workspaces and managing multiple tasks with clarity and consistency.
- Excel Proficiency: Fluent in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, lookups and data sorting/filtering for inventory tracking, auditing and reporting.
- Physical & Operational Readiness: Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs, operating pallet jacks, and adhering to safety protocols in a dynamic warehouse environment.
- Inventory Management: Familiarity with stock line level tracking systems, barcode scanning, labeling and cycle counts. Experience with ERP or WMS platforms is a plus.
