HARDI Australia is currently seeking an experienced General Hand in Paint liner who is passionate about their work and looking to join a Leading Brand in Agriculture Spray Equipment based at our Cavan manufacturing facilities.
Key Responsibilities
1. Maintenance and Cleaning: to help keep workspaces safe, orderly, and clean by helping with general maintenance and cleaning. Regular cleaning and upkeep, basic preliminary processing and preparation, and quality tests to guarantee that final items fulfill requirements
2. To assist fabrication workers with their everyday responsibilities, which may involve lifting, sorting, and transporting objects as well as loading and unloading supplies or machinery. Thus, a forklift license is necessary.
3. Prioritize workplace safety by adhering to safety rules and procedures in order to avoid mishaps or injuries. Since general hands must effectively interact with supervisors and coworkers, delivering progress updates and requesting clarification when necessary, strong communication skills are crucial.
4. Parts loading and unloading: Placing goods on hooks or racks for painting and then removing them when finished.
5. Surface preparation: completing simple surface preparation procedures to prepare the object for painting.
6. Examining completed components for defects and carrying out corrective measures when necessary is quality control.
7. General maintenance: Keeping the paint line area and its equipment clean and in good working order.
8. Material handling: Transporting supplies throughout the workshop.
9. Adhering to all safety rules, regulations, and hazardous material handling guidelines is known as safety compliance.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Physical stamina: To do physically duties for prolonged periods of time, the position demands stamina.
* Manual Dexterity: Having good hand-eye coordination and being proficient with a variety of hand and power tools are essential.
* Proficiency in problem-solving is essential for general hands to identify and get over problems when performing jobs.
* Paying close attention to details is crucial for ensuring that activities are finished correctly and efficiently
* Experience in a manufacturing or production environment, especially with paint lines.
* Forklift license is a must
* Experience with chemicals and basic equipment maintenance.
* High school diploma or equivalent
* Storeman experience is a must
* Be able to read drawings, not a must but would be beneficial
