Position Purpose Reporting to the Landside Customer and Culture Leader, the Customer Service Officer plays a key role in delivering a safe, secure, and seamless customer experience across Adelaide Airport's landside precinct. This casual role supports the efficient operation of pick-up/drop-off areas, taxi ranks, and car parks through proactive traffic management, customer assistance, and security monitoring. The Customer Service Officer also undertakes patrols, operates car park systems, and responds to customer enquiries, helping to embed a strong customer service culture and uphold AAL's values in every interaction.
Key Accountabilities
* Maintain traffic flow in pick-up/drop-off area, taxi rank and landside terminal precincts and to provide general customer service to the travelling public;
* General operation of car park equipment and systems;
* Assist the travelling public with any mobility assistance requirements;
* Undertake designated mobile patrols of the Landside precinct to ensure safety, security and compliance with general operations;
* Undertake car park booth operation shifts to monitor and maintain security across the landside precinct including monitoring of CCTV, assisting with customer queries relating to carparking and online booking queries, via phone and intercom.
* Embed Customer Service in attitudes and actions;
* Contribute to a safe, healthy and discrimination free workplace;

Qualifications/Skills/Experience
* Minimum 2 years experience within a face to face customer service environment;
* Previous experience with shift works;
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to quickly build rapport with a diverse range of customers;
* Ability to provide an outstanding and seamless customer experience to travellers and visitors to Adelaide Airport;
* Resilience and proven ability to manage and avoid conflict and diffuse difficult interactions ;
* Well-developed problem solving skills with the ability to follow through to resolution;
* Highly developed attention to detail and ability to pivot and adapt to situations as required;
* The ability to work autonomously and within a team environment;
* The ability to adapt to an ever changing, fast paced operational environments
* Ability to work in the outdoors and adapt to all environmental conditions;
* Current Driver's Licence.
* Flexibility and availability to work on an as needed basis across a 7-day roster
