Details: There is a temporary vacancy to backfill the position of Policy Officer, Public Health Regulation available immediately until 31 August 2026. This is an opportunity to work in a small but vibrant team, backfilling a crucial role. We are looking for a motivated candidate who is keen to contribute to public health legislation, notably medicine and poisons reforms. Under limited direction this position undertakes policy review, analysis, development, implements tasks and provides informed policy advice on ACT public health regulation strategies and activities.

Eligibility/Other requirements:
* A tertiary qualification in a health-related discipline.
* Prior to commencement, the successful candidate will be required to undergo a pre-employment National Police Check.
Notes: This is a temporary position available immediately until 31 August 2026.
A merit pool may be established from this process and used to fill vacancies over the next six months. Selection may be based on application and referee reports only.
