About this Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrical Technician to join our team. As an Electrical Technician, you will be responsible for servicing, testing and/or programming fire panels, cabling, alarm systems and associated equipment on our clients' sites.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about working in the Fire Protection industry and has a strong background in electrical work. If you have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and a great attitude, we would love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities:
* Survey customer premises and recommend fire protection and safety systems and equipment in accordance with company procedures and processes.
* Identify, test, service, and repair fire protection and safety systems and equipment in accordance with company procedures and processes.
* Complete and provide evidence of maintenance performed on equipment in an accurate and legible manner, using systems including handheld technology.
* Comply with all company policies, procedures, and processes.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
* A current Electrical licence.
* Unrestricted work rights.
* A current Driver's licence.
* A current Cabling licence.
* A well-developed understanding of the applicable Australian Standards relevant to Fixed Systems fire protection equipment.
* The ability to undergo a pre-employment medical and police check.
