About the roleAre you passionate about making a difference in the lives of others? I Care Nursing is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team in Traralgon, VIC. This casual role will involve providing high-quality, person-centred care and support to disabled clients in our Supported Independant Living Homes.What you'll be doingAssisting clients with daily living activities such as personal care, meal preparation, and light housekeepingAccompanying clients to appointments, social activities, and community eventsProviding emotional support and companionship to help clients maintain their independence and quality of lifeMaintaining accurate records and documentation to ensure continuity of careAdhering to all relevant policies, procedures, and safety protocolsWhat we're looking forA Certificate III or IV in Aged Care, Disability Support, or a related fieldPrevious experience working in the aged care or disability support sector, preferably in a similar roleExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and provide compassionate careA genuine commitment to promoting the independence, dignity, and wellbeing of disabled individualsA current driver's licence and reliable mode of transportationStrong problem-solving and decision-making abilitiesA valid first aid certificate and police checkWhat we offerAt I Care Nursing, we are dedicated to supporting our employees and providing a positive work environment.
