About the role

This role is part ofthe expanding headspace team that partner with New Horizons. The role isoffered as a Maximum Term contract to the end of March ****. Reporting to the ClinicalLead, as Clinical Educator, you will provide training, clinical supervision andsupport to employees, students and graduates, ensuring they deliver safe,high-quality care to customers.
Your responsibilities
Build Strong Relationships: Foster positive working relationships with students, graduates, team members, and stakeholders to ensure safe, high-quality care.
Onboarding & Induction: Support the onboarding and induction of customer-facing workers, including students and graduates.
Supervision & Guidance: Provide clinical and field supervision, ensuring adherence to clinical governance and scope of practice.
Training & Development: Monitor learning needs, provide or source training, and develop new training packages aligned with industry standards.
Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records, complete ECP reporting and ensure high-quality documentation by students and graduates.
Compliance & Legislation: Demonstrate knowledge of relevant legislation and ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
Continuous Improvement: Participate in professional development, support policy development, and engage in continuous improvement initiatives.
Supervision & Training: Provide effective supervision and training, ensuring positive placement experiences for students and graduates.
About you

Essential Requirements
Qualifications and full registration in a relevant allied health field, such as Psychology, Social Work or Occupational Therapy
3 years clinical experience post qualification in the implementation of person-centered care within a disability and/or mental health care setting.
Be eligible to provide clinical supervision or be eligible to be trained to provide clinical supervision at the time of employment.
Knowledge and understanding of relevant State and Commonwealth legislation, guidelines, and standards related to disability and/or mental health care.
Proficient computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Office software and Electronic Medical Record systems

NDIS worker Check (or willingness to obtain)
NSW WWCC (or willingness to obtain)
