About The Role
As a Café Assistant, you'll play a key role in creating a warm, welcoming space for our customers. From making recommendations and upselling products to ensuring the store is spotless and inviting — your energy and attention to detail will help deliver the Gloria Jean's experience every day.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver fast, friendly, and efficient customer service
* Promote and upsell products with confidence
* Support and represent in-store marketing campaigns
* Communicate clearly and positively with customers and team members
* Help maintain a clean and safe café environment
* Use store checklists to ensure all tasks are completed during your shift
* Follow instructions from your Shift Supervisor, Store Manager, or Company Director
* Wear the correct, clean uniform and maintain a professional appearance

* Willingness to learn and follow procedures
* Flexibility to work weekdays, weekends, and public holidays on a rotating roster
* Prior café or customer service experience is a plus
