About the role
As a Scheduling Team Leader, you will support the provision of efficient delivery of home services across Regional NSW (Central West, Mid‑State & Murrumbidgee) and WA. You will provide the highest quality customer service, consistent with Baptist Care’s scheduling principles. You will provide effective support and supervision to members of the Scheduling team and support the Management team by ensuring service delivery KPIs and efficiency targets are met.
Typical day includes
- Scheduling services for care workers to meet customer needs, worker skill level and availability, maximising best fit for the customer and business.
- Allocating work to care workers in a timely manner according to their skill set and geographical location.
- Ensuring that all services are covered and workers are fully utilised, minimising overtime and downtime.
- Understanding the qualifications of care workers and matching with the requirements of customers and carers.
- Managing rostering for day‑to‑day urgent situations as they arise.
- Being rostered on‑call on a rotating basis.

Requirements
- Proficiency in the operation of customer databases and Microsoft Office suite of applications.
- Experience in a similar role within an aged‑care or health‑care setting is advantageous and a flair for problem‑solving.
- A flexible attitude and a can‑do approach.
- Outstanding organisational skills with the ability to effectively manage time.
- Ability to achieve under tight deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
- High attention to detail and ability to multitask.
- Demonstrated ability to work under minimum supervision and as part of a team.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to support clients, their families, employees and key stakeholders.
- Ability to manage the complexities of a team, including aspects of human‑resource management.
