W Sydney is now casting for a full-time Information Technology Specialist to assist in day-to-day IT operations need. The role reports to the IT Manager.

To be successful as a IT Specialist you will possess good time management skills and are deadline driven, highly skilled at multi-tasking and prioritising tasks. You will have superior customer service skills as well as problem solving, troubleshooting and influencing skills. To be pro-active and assist IT Manager to streamline our IT system functions and operations and maintain highest ethical standards and confidentiality.

**TALENT PROFILE**

**Education & Experience Required**
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or relevant field
- Minimum one-year experience as IT Specialist or IT Service desk support
- Hotel experience will be an advantage
- Possess excellent verbal and written communication and Microsoft Office skills, and a strong attention to detail

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**

Reporting to the IT Manager, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
**General**
- Maintains documented balanced scorecard and annual goals and focus on achieving these goals.
- Executes, prioritizes, organizes, and accomplishes assigned work.
- Demonstrates and applies Information Resources knowledge by keeping up-to-date technically and applies new knowledge to their job.
- Completes other reasonable duties as requested by leadership.
- Providing technical support to all Talent, and to clients, end users and relevant stakeholders.
- Assisting with a wide range of issues, including connection problems, data access, network failures, poor computer performance and cloud migration
- Commissioning and installing upgrades, repairs, maintenance programmes and data transfers.
- Solving problems with various appliances, including printers, scanners, desktop and laptop computers, handheld devices, and servers.
- Creating IT tickets via ticket-tracking software and monitoring progress of individual task pathways.

**Process**
- Maintains IT related inventory for the hotel.
- Manages backups and technology disaster recovery planning and execution.
- Generates systems communications for property users to provide user tips, alert users of system problems, and inform Talent of progress or status.
- Monitors effective flow of issue management amongst Support Desk, and technology partners.

**People**
- Builds and maintains positive and effective relations with all the stakeholders.
- Meets all IT technology partners servicing the property on a routine and ad hoc basis.
- Verifies effective induction program for new Talent or those in new or different roles.
- Build and maintain positive and effective relations with direct team members.
