About The Role
As Senior Manager, Risk Governance, Systems & Insights, you will play a pivotal leadership role in shaping the risk management landscape at Australian Retirement Trust. You'll be responsible for designing, implementing, and continuously enhancing risk frameworks, systems, and enterprise reporting that support informed decision‑making at the highest levels.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the design, implementation, and ongoing enhancement of ART's risk frameworks and governance structures.
* Oversee enterprise risk reporting, delivering actionable insights to the Executive and Board Risk Committee.
* Manage the risk management policy suite, ensuring alignment with regulatory and strategic changes.
* Own the strategic direction and operational management of risk systems and technology platforms.
* Coordinate system maintenance, upgrades, and enhancements for a robust, user‑friendly risk technology.
* Standardise risk reporting templates and uplift reporting quality across risk domains.
* Support regulatory reviews, internal audits, and policy development to meet APRA standards.
* Foster collaboration across the organisation to enhance risk accountability and governance practices.
* Build and lead a high-performing team of risk professionals, driving capability development and continuous improvement.
* Monitor regulatory developments and act as a liaison for governance‑related queries from regulators, auditors, and assurance providers.
Qualifications
* Proven experience leading design and implementation of risk frameworks and governance structures.
* Strong track record in enterprise risk reporting and delivering actionable insights to executive-level stakeholders.
* In‑depth knowledge of risk‑management policy, regulatory requirements, and APRA prudential standards.
* Excellent strategic vision and operational management skills for risk systems and technology platforms.
* Demonstrated ability to standardise reporting and improve quality across risk domains.
* Experience supporting regulatory reviews, internal audits, and policy development.
* Collaborative leadership style with proven ability to build high‑performing teams.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and manage cross‑functional stakeholders.
* Problem‑solving mindset, capable of quickly developing innovative solutions.
