This exciting position is responsible for attracting, assessing and supporting new carers, while empowering and retaining existing ones through training and development.
* A relevant tertiary qualification in Social Work, Children's Services or equivalent (bachelor's degree level or 10 years of relevant experience).
* Sound professional knowledge particularly in trauma, attachment and therapeutic care.
* Ability to work under pressure with exceptional organisational skills.
* An understanding of Aboriginal culture and values.
Key requirements include:
* A valid driver's license;
* A satisfactory criminal history check;
* A valid Employee Working with Children Check;
* A valid NDIS Workers Screening Check.
