Job Title: Financial Services Professional
The role of Senior Financial Inclusion Specialist is pivotal in delivering impactful training programs that heighten the cultural competency of finance sector professionals. This position plays a vital part in designing and developing education content and programs in collaboration with diverse stakeholders, including banks, government agencies, and superannuation funds.
Key Responsibilities:
Facilitate workshops and training sessions on financial inclusion and cultural awareness for diverse audiences, ensuring a safe and engaging learning environment.
Design culturally sensitive and engaging learning materials that cater to the needs of different groups while remaining grounded in First Nations perspectives.
Tailor training content and delivery style to meet audience needs and requirements, fostering a collaborative approach among staff and partner organizations.
Contribute to creating culturally appropriate learning resources, workshop materials, and digital content that promote systemic change in the financial services sector.
Requirements:
Identify as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander.
Proven experience as a facilitator or trainer, preferably with corporate, government, or cross-cultural audiences, with a strong understanding of financial barriers experienced by Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.
Knowledge of and prior experience working in the financial services sector or public policy environment, coupled with excellent communication, facilitation, and relationship-building skills.
