**Sales Director Role**

The Sales Director plays a pivotal role in driving customer obsession, product knowledge, and visual presentation skills. They ensure operational processes are executed through collaboration with their team members.

This position requires a high level of comfort in building rapport through customer and team interactions. The ideal candidate should be able to implement and follow store business plans while ensuring the execution of operational processes.

Responsibilities include:

* Leading customer selling experiences in both in-store and online shopping environments.
* Cultivating a customer-obsessed culture that prioritizes selling behaviors, such as greeting, re-engaging, educating, adding on, and thanking customers.
* Understanding their role in sales growth and contributing to store profitability.
* Developing interpersonal savvy to read cues and respond appropriately to every customer to create an exceptional in-store experience.
* Educating customers on loyalty programs, current promotions, and merchandise assortment to support basket building.
* Serving as a brand ambassador by treating all customers and coworkers respectfully and professionally while supporting common goals.
* Leading by example, supporting, and holding the team accountable to company policies and procedures.
* Executing Manager on Duty (MOD) responsibilities, including opening/closing procedures, team supervision, figure eights, etc.
* Assisting in freight processing, maintaining organized stockrooms, executing merchandise presentation directives, pricing, and inventory accuracy.
* Championing and demonstrating commitment to company values: Customer Commitment, Caring Culture, Winning Attitude, and Innovative Spirit.

**Qualifications and Skills Required**

* A High School Diploma or GED is required; college education is preferred.
* Minimum 1 year management experience in retail or service industry is preferred.
* Strong communication skills and customer selling experience are essential.
* The ideal candidate should be energetic, people-oriented, results-driven, competitive, and driven to succeed.
* A valid driver's license is required.
* The ability to handle and transport company funds securely is necessary.
* Effective written and verbal communication skills are crucial.
* The ability to work weekends, holidays, and evenings is required.
* The capacity to read and interpret company directives, handbooks, and manuals is necessary.
* A flexible schedule to meet business needs is expected.
* The ability to work independently and as part of a team is essential.
* The capacity to ascend/descend ladders to retrieve and stock products safely is necessary.
* Frequent standing and movement around the store to greet and assist customers are required.
* The ability to frequently communicate with customers in person, electronically, and telephonically is essential.
* The capacity to move merchandise weighing 50 pounds or more safely is necessary.
