We are currently looking for a professional Fitter who understands and acts according to the company's objectives.
Job Duties
* Interpret technical drawings and specifications to identify appropriate materials, production methods, operational sequences, and machine configurations.
* Assemble fabricated metal components and subassemblies to build machinery and equipment.
* Inspect finished and assembled metal parts to ensure accuracy, proper clearance, and correct fit using precision measuring tools.
* Configure machining equipment by adjusting guides, stops, and controls, and install specified cutting, shaping tools, and dies in machines and presses, including têxtile machinery setup where required.
* Shape and finish metal materials and castings to accurate tolerances using machining processes such as pressing, cutting, grinding, planing, boring, and drilling.
* Cut, thread, bend, and install hydraulic and pneumatic piping systems.
* Identify faults, carry out routine maintenance, and perform repairs or overhauls on mechanical components and fluid power systems.
* Install and commission machinery and equipment at client or project sites when required.
Qualifications & Skills
* A minimum requirement includes holding a Certificate IIII or IV.
* Must have 1 year of work experience.
* Proficiency in both spoken and written English communication.
Pay: $80,000.00 - $82,000.00 per year
