With a strong focus on quality and technical service, the business is expanding in Western Australia and seeks a proactive Sales Manager to lead its Perth operations, drive revenue growth, and strengthen market presence across the region.
The Role
Reporting to regional leadership, the Sales Manager will be responsible for managing and growing a high-performing sales team while driving new business opportunities across roofing, insulation, and ventilation systems. This role is ideal for a commercially-minded leader with a deep understanding of building products and the ability to translate technical knowledge into measurable business outcomes. You will combine people leadership, account management, and technical consultation to ensure the team meets targets, supports clients with expert advice, and delivers exceptional service across the region.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead, coach, and develop a sales team to achieve territory and revenue targets
* Drive new business development across roofing contractors, builders, insulation installers, and distributors
* Oversee key accounts, strengthening relationships and securing project specifications
* Provide technical guidance and product support to clients and team members
* Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to identify opportunities
* Manage sales forecasting, pipeline, and reporting to senior management
* Conduct site visits, client meetings, and product presentations to reinforce brand credibility
* Implement sales strategies aligned with company objectives and regional growth plans
What We're Looking For
* Proven sales management experience in roofing, insulation, ventilation, or building products
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team
* Excellent understanding of construction processes, specifications, and trade engagement
* Track record in driving revenue growth and new business acquisition
* Commercially astute with strong negotiation and influencing skills
* Comfortable on-site with contractors, builders, and key stakeholders
* Ability to translate technical product knowledge into business solutions
Salary and Benefits
Base $150,000–$170,000 + Super 12% + Car + Bonus
