Heritage Consultant Role
The Heritage Consultant is an expert in archaeological and heritage consulting services, working as part of a small team to deliver high-level technical expertise to clients across Aboriginal and historical archaeology.
* Project Work:
o Deliver work to client-ready standards before submission to senior consultants
o Undertake site and fieldwork, including survey, excavation, recording, and analysis
* Client Engagement:
o Engage with clients, stakeholders, team members, and regulators throughout project work
Key Skills:
* Knowledge of NSW legislation, policy, and guidelines for Aboriginal and historical heritage
* Proficiency in reporting, data management, and mapping software
* Tertiary qualifications in Archaeology
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Proven ability to manage multiple projects
* Demonstrated experience in field and office environments
