**What you'll be doing**
The Sub-Acute Mental Health Service Generic Support Worker will provide assistance and support to the multidisciplinary team in the delivery of recovery oriented interventions to all consumers of the Sub-Acute Mental Health Service, under the supervision of an allied health or nursing professional. The position works with individual consumers and the multidisciplinary team to facilitate recovery through the development of skills, strengths and capacity for successful independent community living.

**Selection Criteria**:
- Certificate IV in Mental Health (or readiness to work towards).
- Demonstrated effective interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
- Willingness to assist in the planning, implementation and evaluation of individual and group interventions for all people with mental health issues.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritise workload, meet deadlines and complete activities (including ability to work within scope of practice and seek assistance when required) as delegated by supervising Allied Health or Nursing Professional.
- Demonstrated commitment to the incorporation of Mental Health Recovery principles into day to day practice.
- Current NSW Driver's Licence (Class C).
