As the One Basin CRC Manager, you'll spearhead strategic initiatives adapting agriculture to climate change in the Mildura Hub and Mallee Regional Innovation Centre. You'll engage with diverse partners, develop cutting-edge research projects, and manage the Mildura Hub's operations. This role offers you the chance to drive regional innovation, collaborate with industry leaders, and shape sustainable practices across the Murray-Darling Basin.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Lead Strategic Partnerships: Develop and maintain effective links with CRC partners, government bodies, and regional communities to drive collaborative innovation.
* Manage Research Projects: Work with Research Program Leaders to develop and deliver impactful projects adapting agriculture to climate change.
* Oversee Hub Operations: Provide operational management for the Mildura Hub, ensuring successful delivery of One Basin CRC initiatives.
* Drive Stakeholder Engagement: Chair committees, organise workshops, and represent the CRC at various forums to promote knowledge sharing and impact.
You may be a great fit if:
You are a collaborative leader with extensive experience in project management, stakeholder engagement, and a strong background in agriculture, water management, or environmental science, capable of driving innovation in a complex, multi-organisational setting.
You may also:
* Possess a postgraduate qualification in a relevant field or equivalent industry experience.
* Have demonstrated experience in high-level stakeholder engagement with research organisations and industry partners.
* Excel at coordinating multiple projects across their lifecycle, including planning, budgeting, and leading multi-disciplinary teams.
* Possess strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage diverse audiences.
* Have experience in organising and delivering stakeholder workshops and events.
* Be proficient in Microsoft Office suite and project management systems.
