The Role
An opportunity exists for an experienced Financial Controller to take ownership of the finance function within a growing hospitality and property portfolio. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for overseeing financial operations, reporting, compliance, payroll, cash flow management and strategic financial planning. You will partner closely with senior leadership and department heads to provide clear commercial insight, improve systems and controls, and drive performance across the venue. This role suits someone who understands both the detail and the bigger picture - someone comfortable rolling up their sleeves while influencing high-level decisions.
Skills and Experience
The ideal candidate will bring the following:
* CA / CPA qualified (or equivalent)
* Proven experience as a Financial Controller or Senior Finance Manager in the Hospitality and Hotels Industry
* Advanced financial reporting and forecasting capability
* Solid understanding of tax compliance, statutory obligations and audit processes
* Experience managing budgets, cash flow and capital expenditure
* Strong commercial acumen with the ability to influence non-finance stakeholders
* High attention to detail with a structured, organised approach
