About the role
Midland Tractors' is seeking experienced Diesel Mechanics, Light or Heavy Vehicle Mechanics and Auto Electricians to join our team in our Longford and Latrobe Branches. These full-time roles will see you using your expertise to maintain and repair a range of agricultural equipment.
What you will be doing
* Diagnose and repair issues with diesel engines, transmissions, hydraulic systems and other vehicle components
* Carry out scheduled servicing and maintenance on a variety of agricultural equipment
* Perform electrical repairs and modifications to equipment wiring systems and accessories
* Use diagnostic equipment and apply technical knowledge to identify and resolve problems
* Maintain detailed records or work completed and parts used
* Provide exceptional customer service and advice to customers
What we are looking for
* Relevant Australian recognised trade certificate
* Hands-on experience as a Diesel Mechanic, Light or Heavy Vehicle Mechanic or Auto Electrician
* Strong diagnostic and problem solving skills
* Excellent communication and customer service abilities
* A keen eye for detail and commitment to safety
* A valid drivers licence
