Key to delivering exceptional patient care is the role of a clinical pharmacist. As a specialist in medication therapy, you will be responsible for conducting comprehensive reviews of patient medication charts and ensuring accurate medication reconciliation.
About This Role:
* Coordinate patient medication requirements for inpatient stays, day infusions, and discharge
* Manufacture and compound aseptic cytotoxic products and non-hazardous patient prescriptions, including sterile cleaning processes
* Provide expert advice on drug selection and usage
* Counsel patients on proper medicine use
* Verify accuracy of prescriptions dispensed by pharmacy technicians
* Dispense and supply medications and pharmacy products
* Perform ward collection and delivery rounds
* Collaborate with patients, carers, hospital staff, and associated employees
* Engage in quality and research activities within the department

What We Are Looking For:
* A current AHPRA registration as a pharmacist
* Previous experience in an Australian or New Zealand pharmacy setting
* Strong knowledge of the Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme (PBS)
