What you can expect in a day in this role :

We are excited to be recruiting for a Hotel Manager for the extensively renovated and loved venue, The Mont. Reporting to the Vantage General Manager, you will be expected to be hands‐on with the daily operations, leading the team to overall venue success.

Your duties will include, but not limited to:

* Day-to-day running of gaming rooms, bistro, and accommodation
* Supervise and support staff during shifts across the property
* Manage and maintain staff rosters
* Assisting with budgets and cost control measures
* Handle elevated customer queries and questions
* Ensure all policies and procedures are always adhered to, including gaming regulations
What you'll bring to the role:
* Experience in an operational senior management position within the hospitality industry or a related industry, including proven experience managing budgets, controlling costs, and growing profitability
* Demonstrated practical experience in the delivery of customer service, leading a high-performing team
* Well-rounded, current gaming knowledge, and applied knowledge of relevant legislation/regulations applicable to the hospitality industry
* Availability and flexibility to work a variety of night and weekend shifts which may include public holidays
* Current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) Certificate and current Responsible Conduct of Gaming (RCG) Certificate
* Certificate IV/Diploma in Hospitality or above (desirable)
