We are looking for a compassionate and reliable Disability Support Workers to join our supportive team on a part-time basis (15–20 hours per week, negotiable). This role is ideal for someone who brings warmth, patience and genuine care to their work.
About the Role
You will provide person-centred support to individuals living with a disability, helping them feel safe, respected and supported in their daily lives. Shifts include overnights and weekends, supporting participants in their home environment.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Providing respectful personal care and daily living support
* Assisting with transfers using a hoist (experience preferred but training will be provided)
* Supporting participants overnight to ensure comfort and safety
* Building trusting, caring relationships through consistent and compassionate support
About You
You bring a caring and compassionate approach to supporting people with disability and are reliable, dependable and committed to consistently showing up for participants. You are comfortable working overnight and weekend shifts and have experience with hoist transfers and manual handling or a genuine willingness to learn, with training provided.
Any previous experience you may have either working with or those shaped by your own life experiences are highly valued, these can also include those of a carer/parent, if this sounds like you, we have the perfect opportunity right here, with us.
Pre-employment requirements:
* Minimum Qualification in Individual support/Community Services is desirable
* Evidence of working rights within Australia such as a passport or birth certificate
* A current valid Driver's License and an insured and registered vehicle
* Satisfactory Police Records Check
* Blue Card and NDIS Workers Screening Check
* NDIS Worker Orientation Module Certificate – free online certificate
