Flaming North Fire is growing, and we're looking for a Qualified Electrician to join our dedicated team. If you have a strong electrical background and are interested in building a career in the fire protection industry, this is a fantastic opportunity.
About the Role
You will be working across a range of electrical and fire-related tasks, including:
* Assisting with installation, preventative maintenance, and testing of fire protection systems As per relevant Australian Standards.
* Working alongside experienced fire technicians.
* Learning industry-specific fire protection skills with support and training provided
* Replacement of failed emergency and exit lighting.
What We're Looking For
* 2+ years of electrical experience ( essential)
* Fire industry experience is not required, but highly regarded
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work
* A positive attitude and willingness to learn
* Current electrical licence
* Driver's licence and good work ethic An Australian Electrical Trade Qualification
* A QLD Electrical License and unrestricted C Class Driving license
* Current CPR/LVR and First Aid certification
* EWP, Forklift, AC ticket (highly regarded)
* Excellent verbal and written communication.
* Excellent troubleshooting, breakdown and diagnostic skills
* Able to work within and contribute to the team, working with a diverse team environment.
