About The Role
Breakthru is selected by the Department of Social Services to deliver the Inclusive Employment Australia (IEA) program across key regions in New South Wales and Queensland. We're growing our team to help more people access meaningful employment and build lasting careers.
As a Partnerships Coach, you'll work side-by-side with participants to explore their career goals, build confidence, and support them into meaningful employment. You'll understand strengths and aspirations, offer tailored coaching, link to opportunities, and collaborate with employers to open doors. It's a fast-paced, people-focused environment where energy, empathy, and commitment to outcomes shine.
You'll also work closely with employers to understand their business needs and provide staffing solutions that genuinely fit, including delivering training, promoting inclusive hiring practices, keeping accurate records, and driving engagement through proactive networking. Your relationship-building skills and passion for making a difference will have real impact.
Key Responsibilities Include
* Source and create career opportunities, matching clients to suitable and sustainable roles.
* Champion inclusive employment and workforce diversity, focusing on people with disability, injury or health condition.
* Engage and work with employers to address skill shortages through role carving and inclusive recruitment.
* Broker work experience to build participant skills and assess employer/client compatibility.
* Prepare workplaces to support and retain participants via adjustments and disability confidence training.
* Facilitate employer training to boost disability awareness and inclusion.
* Build employer and community networks to create job opportunities.
* Promote Breakthru as a trusted provider supporting people with disability to achieve career goals.
* Meet or exceed internal and external performance benchmarks.
* Champion Breakthru's values of inclusion, empowerment, and person-centred practice.
About You
You bring empathy, energy, and a strong drive to make a difference. You have experience or a genuine passion for employment services. You're confident supporting people, building trust, and guiding them into meaningful careers. You're outcomes-focused, highly organised, and thrive in a fast-paced, people-first environment. You enjoy understanding an employer's business, people, culture, and challenges to identify staffing solutions that truly fit. Your relationship-building skills help you connect with clients and employers alike, and you're confident delivering training with knowledge of inclusive employment practices. You're proactive with marketing and networking, with attention to detail to keep records accurate and professional. Above all, you approach work with integrity, confidentiality, and a commitment to delivering high-quality, person-centred service.
Essential Criteria
* Qualifications in Employment or Human Services – desirable
* Proven ability to meet KPIs and manage workload effectively
* Strong understanding of employment barriers faced by people with disability, injury, or health conditions
* Skilled in providing tailored support and developing client-focused employment plans
* Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder engagement skills
* Current Driver's License - essential
