Empowering People with Disability
We are seeking passionate and proactive support workers to join our team in Rockhampton. You will provide active support to people with disability, empowering them to live life on their own terms.
Key Responsibilities:
* Follow person-centred support and behaviour plans to ensure optimal care
* Facilitate client goal achievement through meaningful activities and experiences
* Maintain accurate and thorough record keeping to track progress and outcomes
* Build positive relationships with clients, families, and colleagues through effective communication and collaboration
* Advocate for client choice and control to promote autonomy and independence
Requirements:
* A passion for working with people with disability and a commitment to providing high-quality support
* Availability for two sleepover shifts per fortnight to ensure continuity of care
* Ability to work with challenging behaviours and develop strategies to manage them effectively
* A current First Aid and CPR Certificate to ensure safety and well-being
