Service Manager Role

As a Service Manager, you will play a critical role in leading the day-to-day operations of our CYF services, ensuring they meet client needs and operate in line with our values and legislative requirements.
Your leadership will drive service quality and the development of a high-performing team while promoting a culture of continuous improvement. You will work closely with internal and external stakeholders, manage budgets, and contribute to our mission of providing holistic support to vulnerable families and children.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the day-to-day operations of CYF services, ensuring services meet both client needs and organizational requirements.
* Prepare business cases, funding applications, proposals, and change management plans.
* Actively participate in benchmarking activities and work toward achieving service targets.
* Build and maintain effective relationships with funding bodies, key stakeholders, and partners.
* Prepare and monitor service budgets, ensuring financial targets are met.
* Provide regular, accurate financial reporting within organizational timelines.
Requirements:
* Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Social Sciences, or a related discipline.
* Strong understanding of financial management systems and budgeting processes.
* Current driver's license and willingness to travel intrastate periodically.
* Knowledge of the Sanctuary Model of Care (Desirable).
* A minimum of 3 years' experience in a management role in social welfare or child protection.
* Demonstrated ability to identify business development opportunities and improve service delivery.
