Job Description
Responsibilities and duties (but not limited to):
* Managing all communication regarding reservations for the Hotel
* Handle all enquiries relating to bookings via email or phone
* Exhibit high sales performance and maximise all sales leads by ensuring close of sale, and up-selling and cross-selling opportunities
* Maintain a positive selling approach to maximise yield in both occupancy and rates
* Administration of reservations, including maintaining a precise filing system
Qualifications
* The ability to demonstrate and deliver luxury service
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Strong organisational, customer service and problem solving skills
* Ability to multi-task and manage prioritising demands
* Working knowledge of Microsoft applications and ability to navigate company systems and programs
* Ability to work onsite on casual basis
* Have full working right in Australia
* We are particularly looking for someone available for casual temporary coverage, 2–3 days per week, with working hours 9:00 AM–5:00 PM or 10:00 AM–6:00 PM, Monday to Friday.
* Previous experience in a similar role and familiarity with Opera PMS or Opera Cloud are not mandatory but will be advantageous
