Technical Applications Support Engineer We are seeking a skilled engineer to support application remediation, cloud readiness projects. You will play a key role in modernising legacy environments, providing application support, troubleshooting issues across on-prem and cloud platforms, and ensuring smooth transition of workloads into the cloud. Key Responsibilities: Remediate and support legacy applications to enable Azure cloud adoption. Troubleshoot and resolve issues across on-premise and cloud environments. Working with database backend systems, API’s and other integrations. Conduct pre-migration assessments, testing, and post-migration validation. Collaborate with architects, infrastructure teams, and vendors to deliver migration outcomes. Provide Level 2/3 application support and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. Qualifications & Experience: 3 years in application support. Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (Azure preferred, AWS/GCP valued). Strong knowledge of enterprise applications, middleware, and integration points. Familiarity with scripting, automation, monitoring, and ITIL processes. Relevant tertiary qualification; cloud certifications highly regarded.
