Are you a seasoned Legal Secretary looking for a new challenge in a dynamic Private Clients environment?


About the Role

* This senior Legal Secretary position involves supporting a team of legal professionals, including partners, special counsel, and associates.
* You will be responsible for diary management, client liaison, document preparation, and other administrative tasks.

The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills and experience in all aspects of a true legal secretary role. You should thrive in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same.


Key Responsibilities

1. Diary Management: Arrange client appointments and travel, ensuring seamless coordination with colleagues and clients.
2. Liaison and Communication: Build strong relationships with clients and practitioners, responding to their needs and queries.
3. Document Preparation: Prepare and amend documents efficiently, adhering to high standards of accuracy and attention to detail.
4. Online Research: Conduct thorough online searches to support case work and client requirements.
5. Billing and Finance: Manage monthly and ad hoc billing, ensuring timely and accurate submissions.
6. File Management: Maintain meticulous file management from opening to closure and archiving, safeguarding client confidentiality.
7. Business Development: Assist with business development and marketing activities, contributing to the growth and success of the practice.
8. Administrative Support: Provide additional administrative support as required, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.


Requirements

* Proven experience as a senior Legal Secretary in a Private Clients environment.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to build effective relationships.
* High level of organization, time management, and problem-solving skills.
* Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word and Excel.
* Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information discreetly.
