A great lifestyle in a treasured environment. Port Stephens Libraries are seeking dedicated and passionate individuals to drive our Mobile Library Truck and deliver quality Library Services to our community on a casual basis.
This role involves safely and effectively driving the Mobile Library Truck (semi-articulated vehicle) to sites across the Local Government area of Port Stephens, while delivering library programs, activities and events.
The Mobile Library visits 12 locations across the LGA, from Fingal Bay to Karuah, providing a range of services including loans of books, magazines, DVDs and CDs, and access to public-use computers (printing, photocopying and scanning).
Responsibilities
* Drive and operate the Mobile Library Truck safely and to scheduled sites within the Port Stephens LGA.
* Deliver library programs, activities and events at various locations.
* Provide customer service and assistance to community members; support computer use on public computers.
* Ensure high-quality customer experience and maintain computer literacy support as needed.

Qualifications and Skills
* Demonstrated safe and effective operation of a prime mover and trailer, with a current Heavy Combination (HC) licence.
* Demonstrated experience in a library or other customer service environment.
* A current Working with Children Check (WWCC).
* Proficient IT skills.
Casual Details
* This is a casual opportunity with shifts starting between 8am and 9am and finishing between 5pm and 7pm on weekdays, and 8:30am to 12:30pm on Saturdays.
* Casual Hourly Rate Range: $46.44 to $51.24 / hour.
* You will be based from PSC Library, Raymond Terrace.
