Our client is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to manage, monitor, and support Microsoft 365 and related Microsoft technologies, while maintaining and optimising the underlying infrastructure that supports critical business functions.
About the role:
* The Infrastructure Engineer manages, monitors, and provides technical support for Microsoft 365, Microsoft products and supports the underpinning infrastructure.
* Providing support and advise to the organisation surrounding new implementations and strategies for supporting M365 best practices.
* Managing Active Directory, Microsoft EntraID, Microsoft Conditional Access, Microsoft Purview, and Microsoft Defender XDR.
* M365 administration and troubleshooting (Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Power Platform).
* Managing the infrastructure using auto deployment and security tools.
* Provides level 2 and 3 support.
* Contributes to continuous improvement, better practice and implementing efficiencies.
What you'll do:

What you'll bring:
* Extensive knowledge and experience managing, configuring, monitoring and troubleshooting Microsoft Operating Systems, Microsoft Intune, M365 platform, Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) and Microsoft AI tools.
* Experience in managing, configuring Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, Microsoft Entra Conditional Access, Microsoft Purview and Microsoft Defender XDR.
* Ability to consult on M365 products and proven experience in providing SME advice on better practice, efficiencies, improvement and technical implementation.
* Strong oral communications skills, willingness to share learning with the team and a people-focused attitude.
* Experience in automation.
* Experience administering VMware.
* Experience with scripting in PowerShell.
