About the Role:
We have an opportunity at our Rutherford branch for a Service Supervisor. A varied role that will see you working on a range of equipment across John Deere Agricultural Machinery.
The key responsibilities of this role will include but not limited to:
* Providing excellent customer service, seeking customer feedback and giving advice to customers over the phone
* Monitor and manage daily workflow, compliance with company defined procedures
* Assigning jobs to Service Technicians, following up with employee issues or concerns, scheduling and conducting in-house Service Technician training
* Maintaining product knowledge and some liaison with the Parts department, as necessary
* Addressing and resolution of customer disputes, in conjunction with the Service Manager
* Timely completion of warranty and WIP requirements in conjunction with the Service Manager
* Reviewing all repair work before releasing to the customer, maintaining product knowledge and some liaison with the Parts department as necessary
You will bring the following skills and experience to the role:
* Mechanical Trade Certificate
* Previous experience of engine overhauls and major repairs including electrical, hydraulic and diagnostic skills
* Strong supervisory/management experience with the ability to lead, mentor and develop your team
* A current and valid driver's licence
* A mature attitude and logical and methodical approach to your work
* Possession of high-risk work tickets and/or licenses would be highly regarded
