WPC Group has an opportunity for a passionate, enthusiastic and committed individual who wants to start their career in the heavy vehicle industry, but wants to be more than just a mechanic. In this apprenticeship, you will work towards obtaining a Certificate III in Automotive Manufacturing Technical Operations.
Our partner is well known within the industry in serving a reputation for being a leader in supporting the entire value chain and life cycle of road, bulk and refrigerated transportation.
Based in Derrimut, VIC.
About the Role:
Fabricate parts, welding, body repairs
Maintain a hydraulic and air suspension/braking systems
Install and repair electrical systems
Operate load shifting equipment
Finish and paint vehicle body part surfaces
About You:
A passion for heavy duty semi trailers
Reliable and punctual
Great time management
Drivers License and own vehicle to get around, or close to obtaining
Committed to a 4-year apprenticeship, including practical studies at TAFE
