Our team is seeking an experienced or graduate building surveyor to join our residential team as a leading professional. The ideal candidate will have completed formal building surveying studies and possess sound knowledge of the current Building Act, Regulations, and the Building Code of Australia (BCA).
The successful candidate will be responsible for undertaking detailed technical assessments, inspections, and providing advice against the National Construction Code Volumes One and Two of the Building Code of Australia on all classes of building.
Key responsibilities include:
* Undertaking mandatory notification stage and statutory compliance inspections on various building classes.
* Providing governance duties on behalf of local government councils.
* Communicating effectively with industry professionals and contemporary building surveying practitioners.
